While Tmobile has a slew of Android phones there are those that still long for a touchscreen Blackberry. There are tons of unlocked storms floating around and all you have to do is pop in your sim. The touchscreen and Blackberry OS are a match made in heaven. When the Storm 9530 first came out the OS was a little laggy, but new operating systems have came out so disregard initial reviews. I've made a couple of youtube review vids and the Storm is pleasantly perky. You can download all kinds of apps and themes for free through the Blackberry App Store or by browsing the crackberry.com forums. Its pretty addictive.

Where To Buy Unlocked Storms

Instead of wasting your time going to every Tmobile store or phone retailer, just buy one online. Unlocked storms retail for $599 so anything less than that is a deal. The best deals are probably found on eBay. Some people use their upgrade and get a Storm just to sell it on eBay. Others bought a new one and aren't crackberry fans. Make sure to read the auction description, and glance at their feedback by clicking the # next to their seller name. Even eBay newbs can bid on a Storm and win. A classic phone on Verizon service is the Blackberry 8330. This series really has a lot to offer. Packing a decent camera and a spacious qwerty, Curves really stand out and are surprisingly cheap. You can find them here without a contract and unlocked.

No Contract Curves

Have you been to Best Buy or Verizon and checked prices on phones without a contract? Six hundred dollars!? Instead of getting stuck in the cellular price gouging, just buy one with out a contract online. Make sure that the unlocked curve has a "clear ESN" so it will activate properly. I don't get why retailers like Best Buy and cell phone companies still charge $599 for an unlocked, no contract Blackberry Pearl. Whats the deal? Instead of paying over $600 (taxes blah) just find a good deal on eBay. You have to pay shipping and handling, but you can find a pearl really cheap online. Make sure that the one that you bid on has a clear ESN, and check the feedback of the seller. Look for stuff like: A++++, Fast shipping, great ebayer! There are tons of both new and used pearls on eBay so browse around and find a deal. If you're new, sign up and get ready to save over $300.
